LUX - Enemy

LUX is a serious game in developpment at NAD-UQAC about light pollution. I'm responsible of the concept art and the art direction for the game project. It's very challenging but I'm learning a lot of great and useful things and can't wait to see the finished result.
Here are some explorations for the ennemies of the game, they used to be magic floating balls but we turned them into drones, which makes more sense for our modern urban setting! They attack players when they are detected.

Final production image. The drone hovers and the little spotlight turns red when the player is detected.

Preproduction sketch of the ennemies. At first, they were magic creatures but we went with a much more down to earth approach afterward so that it fits more with our thematic.
