In 2018 I made a series of dragon portraits inspired by insects from my own entomological collection. Last summer I decided to make some more, by using another technique. The portraits are my own designs, and all have a sculpted Zbrush base that I textured quickly in Substance and then rendered in Unreal 4. Then I would overpaint them in Photoshop. It was a bit longer that way of course but it was a very interesting experiment nonetheless! I revisited them this year and changed the backgrounds a bit.
